We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of this Website to do the same. This policy outlines the procedure for reporting copyright infringement and submitting a counter-notice.
If you believe that any content on this Website infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice as outlined below.
1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent, and you believe that material on this Website infringes your copyright, please submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice with the following details:
Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. Please provide enough detail to allow us to verify your claim (e.g., title of the work, registration number, etc.).
Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that you request to be removed. Please provide the URL or other specific location on the Website where the material is located.
Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information you have provided in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or an authorized agent to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Your electronic or physical signature (typing your name at the end of an email is sufficient for an electronic signature).
You may submit your DMCA Takedown Notice to:
Email: inquiries@leograndmusic.com
2. What Happens After We Receive Your DMCA Takedown Notice?
Upon receiving a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, we will:
Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
Notify the user who posted the content about the takedown request.
Provide the user with a copy of the notice and information on how to submit a counter-notice, if applicable.
3. Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe that your content was wrongly removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include:
Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled (e.g., the URL).
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the court in your area (Toronto, Ontario) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA Takedown Notice or an agent of that person.
Your electronic or physical signature.
You may submit your counter-notice to:
Email: inquiries@leograndmusic.com
4. Restoring Removed Content
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the party filing the original DMCA Takedown Notice notifies us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to prevent the alleged infringer from engaging in the infringing activity.
5. Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to terminate user accounts or take other appropriate action against users who are found to repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
By using this Website, you agree to comply with this DMCA Takedown Policy.
